Race report
After around two laps, Nikias Arndt, Samuel Boardman, Frank van den Broek, Storm Ingebrigtsen, Aivaris Mikutis and Jonas Rutsch establish the breakaway of the day. The six riders build a lead of more than 3 minutes.

With just over eight laps to go, Quinn Simmons, Ben Healy, Bart Lemmen, Lennert Van Eetvelt and Maxim Van Gils launch the chase, prompting the rest of the favourites to sit up and take notice.

With just over four laps remaining, Paul Seixas makes his move, with Quinn Simmons, Maxim Van Gils, Ben Healy, Juan Ayuso, Matteo Jorgenson and Tom Pidcock joining him. Remco Evenepoel takes a little longer, but also makes his way across before the next passage of the finish line. It is a sign that the race is heating up.

After plenty of attacking, Remco Evenepoel, Giulio Ciccone and Anthon Charmig enter the final lap as a trio. Early on the final ascent of the Côte de la Montagne, the Belgian accelerates, and Charmig is unable to follow. Evenepoel then opens his sprint from a long way out on the false flat towards the finish. He beats Ciccone to take a resounding victory.
